A Return To Babel
August 15, 2011
After the water of the Genesis flood subsided, God told Noah to, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.” Within a few hundred years, mankind was building a city and tower in defiance of God’s command, rather than trusting in His sovereign control over the planet. Today, “save the planet” movements such as the global warming thriller, “An Inconvenient Truth” or Earth Day celebrations, hearken back to the early, post-flood days of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel through their “self-preservation” philosophies.Evolution: Science or Religious Worldview?
August 30, 2010
Since the publication of Charles Darwin's "Origin of Species", man has battled with the theory of evolution. Its clear opposition to the teaching of scripture creates much frustration among Christians and non-Christians alike. If we will be absolutely honest with ourselves, understanding the origin of man or any other form of life is not within the realm of science. Science has limitations: it must be observed, tested and repeatable. If a scientist performs an experiment in the United States, in order for it to be valid, then a different scientist on the other side of the world should be able to perform the same experiment. The beginning of the universe or the origin of life is not observable, testable or repeatable and therefore our understanding of these things cannot be supported by scientific theory alone.
The origin of the universe and of life requires us to look to an eyewitness or a trusted written document. As the Creator of everything, God is that eyewitness and the Bible is that written word upon which the beginning of everything can be known. This is not an attempt to push my religious views upon you...

Dragons or Dinosaurs?
July 18, 2010
There is a new DVD out now that makes a very convincing case for dragons being dinosaurs. If this is the case, then we are looking at a very strong piece of evidence that dinosaurs and man actually lived together and they were not separated by 65 million years of earth's history. Dragon myths are as recent as the 1500's when knights such as King George went out to kill dragons. Take a moment to watch a preview of the video and let me know what you think.

Friedrich Schleiermacher: History, Science and the Bible
September 12, 2009
Friedrich Schleiermacher, born November 21, 1763 in Breslau, Prussia, was a religious man with a high view of God; however, his understanding of God and the Bible were quite liberal. These views were fashioned out of his upbringing and were predisposed by the liberal teaching of his day. Ultimately, Friedrich’s understanding of God was born out of the “Romanticism” movement of the day and he eventually became an “influential spokesman for ‘Christian experience’” , a movement whose teaching brought God to simply feelings.
What Went Bang?
October 22, 2008
God spoke and “BANG!” Right? Not so fast. In short, the Big Bang theory lays claim to the origin of all matter and energy, doing so without God. Supposedly, 15 billion years ago a single mass called “singularity” was all bottled up and exploded into, well… everything. There is one big problem, where did this mass come from? Or as I like to ask, “what went bang?” How do you have a theory that is supposed to explain the origin of the universe and skip this fundamental question?Drawing Out Leviathan
