What Went Bang?

God spoke and “BANG!” Right? Not so fast. In short, the Big Bang theory lays claim to the origin of all matter and energy, doing so without God. Supposedly, 15 billion years ago a single mass called “singularity” was all bottled up and exploded into, well… everything. There is one big problem, where did this mass come from? Or as I like to ask, “what went bang?” How do you have a theory that is supposed to explain the origin of the universe and skip this fundamental question?
