What Is Truth? Jesus Christ, Truth Incarnate and Truth in Logos
November 17, 2008
Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” (John 18:38) These three words where spoken dismissively to Jesus at his interrogation by Pontius Pilate. Words like these, spoken at such a somber time in history have a way of echoing, even today. What did Pilate want to know or was he really asking a question at all?
No Apology Needed
November 10, 2008
Even though apology and apologetics share the same root word, today they have very different meanings. Apologetics, taken from the Greek word “apologia” (ap-ol-og-ee’-ah; from or out of the word) is not the art of saying you are sorry, but…
What Went Bang?
October 22, 2008
God spoke and “BANG!” Right? Not so fast. In short, the Big Bang theory lays claim to the origin of all matter and energy, doing so without God. Supposedly, 15 billion years ago a single mass called “singularity” was all bottled up and exploded into, well… everything. There is one big problem, where did this mass come from? Or as I like to ask, “what went bang?” How do you have a theory that is supposed to explain the origin of the universe and skip this fundamental question?

He Created Them Male and Female

At the risk of sounding inappropriate, don’t you think the signs outside of public restrooms are pretty important? One reads “MEN” and the other one reads “WOMEN”, they present information that is pretty vital when you are out in public. Ten Contradictions and Differences Between Creation and Evolution
February 15, 2008
On Sunday, February 10, 809 churches from across the United States participated in a day to celebrate Charles Darwin. This day was established to marry…
Belief Statement
January 10, 2008
I believe that the first five words in the Bible, “In the beginning God created…” stand as the foundation of the entire Spirit inspired work of the Bible. It is here we find an infinite God revealing Himself to His finite creation, man. His presence is both inside and outside the realm the time, that is to say, God is eternal. God is sovereign over all of His creation.
In addition, I believe that all of the doctrines we find throughout the Bible find their roots, history and foundational meaning in the first eleven chapters of the book of Genesis.
