    • CCM focuses on Genesis 1-11 helping to establish a firm foundation under the Christian by teaching from a literal, historic, foundational, young-earth perspective. A Christian who builds his house upon the rock will stand the storms of life.

    I believe…

    • God communicated to a real man, Adam;
    • in a real place, the Garden of Eden;
    • at a real moment in time, the 6th day of creation; a little over 6000 years ago;
    • revealing to Adam about how life was to be lived; (working the garden, having dominion over the creation and worshipping the Creator)
    • that plan was wrapped in love allowing Adam to choose to love God or himself;
    • around that choice was placed real boundary, with a real punishment if he disobeyed the clear command of God, death;
    • and about a coming atonement from a Savior, Jesus Christ.

    The apostle Paul made very clear the connection between Adam and Jesus in 1 Corinthians 15:21-22, “For since by a man [came] death, by a man also [came] the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.” If we attempt to drown Adam in a sea of liberal interpretation, allegory and symbolism, then what have we done to Jesus?

    When we stand firm upon the authority of the Bible, from the very first verse, we will begin to see a bright light shine upon the rest of the Bible and life in this world will begin to make more sense.

    If you find yourself in an uncertain place in life or you have some big unanswered questions about God, then may I offer this word of encouragment to you, “the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.” (Eph 1:17 NAS95) The beginning of understanding starts by entering into a trusting relationship with Jesus Christ. If you will open your heart to Jesus, He will make you whole and alive.
